This book has a lot of great ideas, but I must say, the Cincinnati Chili recipe is terribly unauthentic. You don't fry ground beef for Cincy chili, you break up raw meat in a pot of water with your hands, then boil it with spices. That's how you get the unique smooth texture that is so great on spaghetti (not linguine! ARGH!) There are decent recipes on AllRecipes, I used one from a postcard for years.
